The officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, as part of their ongoing reformative and outreach programs, held meetings and educational sessions with local residents in a number of districts and areas across nine provinces of the country.

These reformative meetings between the ministry’s officials (Muhtasibs) and local residents were held in the provinces of Takhar, Zabul, Badakhshan, Daykundi, Laghman, Kapisa, Sar-e-Pul, Paktika, and Parwan.

The meetings emphasized the importance of performing the five daily prayers in congregation, observing Islamic rulings and values, and adhering to the Prophetic Sunnahin both conduct and appearance.

The officials (Muhtasibs) highlighted the virtues of congregational prayer and its role in the reform of individuals and society.

They urged residents of these provinces to pay serious attention to and remain committed to performing their prayers in congregation, and to organize their daily activities in accordance with religious and moral values.

The meetings also addressed social conduct, good manners and relations with others, respect for people’s rights, honoring parents, maintaining family ties, and avoiding actions and behaviors that contradict Islamic rulings. Participants were given relevant advice and guidance on these matters.

The ministry’s officials (Muhtasibs) also emphasized the need to refrain from undesirable customs and traditions, as well as excessive expenses and ceremonies that contravene Islamic principles during celebrations and religious or social gatherings.

They called on the public to observe Islamic principles and values in their social and family affairs.

Meanwhile, participants in the meetings welcomed the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue’s reformative and educational programs and emphasized their willingness to cooperate further with officials and ministry representatives in creating a healthy religious and moral environment and promoting Islamic values within society.
