The ministry's inspectors emphasized the implementation of religious directives and efforts to combat vice during reform-oriented meetings with various segments of society

Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, organized a series of awareness-raising and reformative meetings in the provinces of Kabul, Laghman, Nuristan, Paktia, Maidan Wardak, Takhar, Sar-e Pol, Baghlan, and Jowzjan.
The purpose of these meetings was to promote Is/la/mic values, strengthen the culture of adherence to Is/la/mic rulings, encourage virtuous deeds, prevent immoral acts, combat harmful customs, and reduce extravagance in society.
The meetings were attended by religious scholars, tribal elders, influential community figures, youth, and representatives of various segments of society.
During the sessions, officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry spoke about the importance of this religious duty, the individual and social responsibilities involved in reforming society, and the role of Islamic values in ensuring order and strengthening Islamic unity.
The officials emphasized that promoting virtue and preventing vice are among the key factors in reforming society, reinforcing religious values, and fostering a spirit of solidarity among the people.
Participants were also encouraged to observe the principles of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia, refrain from harmful customs and traditions, avoid extravagance in mourning and wedding ceremonies, respect one another’s rights, and pay serious attention to the proper upbringing of the younger generation.
At the conclusion of the meetings, religious scholars, tribal elders, youth, and other members of the community were urged to cooperate and coordinate with the Ministry’s officials in promoting virtue, preventing vice, and actively and responsibly contributing to the reform of social affairs.
