Muhtasibs resolved two disputes in Paktia and Paktika Provinces and facilitated reconciliation between the involved parties
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, acting on their religious, moral, and social responsibilities, resolved two disputes between families in Paktia and Paktika Provinces through mediation by religious scholars and tribal elders, and facilitated reconciliation between the parties involved.
These long-standing disputes had arisen due to social problems and harmful traditional practices between the families.
Through the efforts of the Muhtasibs and the mediation of local religious scholars and community elders, the conflicts were successfully resolved. It is worth noting that, in addition to preventing other social and moral issues in society, the Muhtasibs of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue have, over the past month, prevented dozens of major and minor feuds across the country, and their efforts in this regard are continuing.
