Muhtasibs resolved two disputes in the provinces of Paktika and Nangarhar

Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in Nangarhar and Paktika provinces resolved two disputes between families and reconciled the involved parties as part of efforts to promote social stability, eliminate ethnic and linguistic prejudices, and strengthen the spirit of unity.

The inspectors (Muhtasibs) stated that they will spare no effort in fostering unity among different ethnic groups and will not allow anyone to promote ethnic or linguistic hostility.

During community meetings with local residents, the inspectors also called on religious scholars, tribal elders, and community members to cooperate with them in preventing such disputes and problems.

Meanwhile, local residents praised the inspectors’ actions and urged them to further intensify their efforts not only in preventing immoral and harmful practices but also in addressing existing social problems, disputes, and enmities within society.
