In Nangarhar Province, Muhtasibs rescued two women from domestic violence

The inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, in Nangarhar Province have rescued two women who were subjected to mistreatment by their husbands and family members and were suffering from severe domestic violence.
They were assisted in obtaining their Sharia-based rights.
Officials (Muhtasibs) stated that these women had been living in their fathers' homes for a long time due to the mistreatment of their husbands and had remained in an uncertain situation.
 Through the efforts of the ministry’s inspectors, they were reunited with their husbands and were enabled to benefit from their Sh/ar/ia rights.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints further emphasized that they are fully committed to ensuring and providing all Sh/ar/ia rights of women and will not allow anyone to engage in violent behavior against women.
