Seven women were rescued from domestic violence in three provinces

Personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Takhar, Kapisa, and Uruzgan, following reports received from the public, identified and provided Sh/ar/ia based support to seven women who had faced domestic violence for many years.

These women, who had been deprived of there is/la/mic and legal rights due to prolonged domestic violence, were rescued from abusive situations through the efforts of the ministry’s personnel (Muhtasibs), and their rightful Is/la/mic rights were restored. Furthermore, the ministry’s personnel (Muhtasibs) in the mentioned provinces summoned the husbands and relatives of these women to the Departments for the Promotion of Virtue.

After conducting thorough investigations and providing religious guidance and recommendations regarding the observance of women’s Is/la/mic rights, they obtained written commitments from them to refrain in the future from any behavior contrary to Is/la/mic teachings and from committing acts of violence against their wives.
