Strengthening peace and social cohesion through the resolution of nearly ten disputes and hostilities across four provinces
In line with strengthening Is/la/mic solidarity, ensuring social peace, and resolving disputes and hostilities among ethnic groups and families, personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Takhar, Baghlan, Maidan Wardak, and Daikundi successfully resolved nine cases of conflict and enmity in a peaceful manner in accordance with Is/la/mic guidelines.
These disputes and hostilities had arisen as a result of family disagreements, ethnic conflicts, inheritance distribution issues, and social misunderstandings, which were gradually expanding over time. Through the efforts of the ministry’s personnel (Muhtasibs), and with the cooperation of religious scholars and tribal elders, the parties involved were encouraged to reconcile and reach mutual understanding. As a result, all of these cases were completely resolved.
Furthermore, during the reconciliation discussions, the parties expressed remorse and accepted mutual understanding.
They agreed to end their hostilities and establish peaceful relations in accordance with the teachings and guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
