Handling of six Sh/ar./ia related women’s inheritance cases in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province*
Personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, within the framework of implementing divine rulings, ensuring women’s Sh/ar/.ia rights, and effectively addressing public complaints, have comprehensively handled six Sh/ar/.ia related cases concerning women’s inheritance in Logar province.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry in this province emphasized their commitment to thoroughly addressing public complaints, stating that the aforementioned cases were examined carefully after receiving petitions from the affected women.
These cases were reviewed in accordance with Islamic Sh/ar/.ia and with full adherence to established principles and procedures, resulting in the restoration of the complainants’ inheritance rights. It is worth noting that this process comes as, over the past month, nearly 50 other women have also been able to obtain their Sh/ar/.ia inheritance rights through the efforts of the ministry’s personnel.
This reflects the strong commitment of the leadership of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue toward establishing justice and implementing divine rulings within the Islamic society.
