The sale of more than 200 items of low-quality and expired food products was prevented in Faryab province
As part of their ongoing efforts to monitor prices and prevent fraud, hoarding, and the sale of substandard and expired goods, inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, collected more than 200 items of expired food products and non-standard medicines from markets in Faryab province.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry's provincial department in Faryab emphasized that strict and continuous market inspections will continue.
They stated that this action was undertaken to protect public health and ensure the safety of citizens, and that violators were dealt with in accordance with the provisions of Is/la/mic law.
The ministry's officials (Muhtasibs) in Faryab also urged all residents of the province to pay close attention to the quality, standards, and expiration dates of goods when making purchases. They encouraged citizens to report any violations or irregularities they observe to the relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, residents of the province welcomed the efforts of the ministry's personnel and described the initiative as an effective step toward safeguarding public health and promoting the well-being of the community.
